We are a leading fundraising organisation in East Africa, established in 1971 to expand medical outreach across the continent. We provide emergency medical evacuations for both members and non-members, and we fundraise to collaborate with county governments and other partners to deliver our Outreach Programme. Our goals for the Outreach Programme include eradicating Female Genital Fistula (FGF) in Kenya and building the capacity of health workers.

Our mission is to positively impact communities by providing access to transformative healthcare and building the capacity of local health teams across East Africa. We support healthcare facilities in East Africa’s hard-to-reach areas, delivering life-changing interventions and empowering professionals to create sustainable, self-sufficient healthcare systems for future impact.

Since our founding in 1971, we have been dedicated to transforming healthcare across East Africa. Established with the help of visionaries like Maddie De Mott, our journey began with creative fundraising efforts and a passion to make a difference. From our humble start, raising KES 232,180 and 1,359 memberships in our first year, we have provided emergency and charity evacuations for the less fortunate, growing into a pivotal force in medical outreach.

Over the past decade, we have also focused on tackling critical issues like fistula, offering free surgeries and providing capacity building to local health professionals.
