At least 110 women have received free reconstructive surgery at a two-week fistula camp at Kenyatta National Hospital, with another 40 awaiting surgery. Funded by Safaricom Foundation and partners, the camp aims to benefit over 200 women. The initiative also includes training for specialists and will be replicated across counties. This effort, part of a three-year Kshs.114 million grant, seeks to raise awareness and improve care for women with obstetric fistula.
